- Place the pitted cherries, torn basil leaves, and honey into the blender.
- Add the ice cubes to the blender, creating a tall stack for optimal crushing.
- Blend on high speed until the mixture is very slushy and the cherries are fully broken down, about 30-40 seconds.
- Status check: the mixture should be smooth and icy with a vibrant red hue and bits of basil visible.
- Pour in the chilled sparkling water and pulse a few times just to combine without losing too much fizz.
- Transfer the slushie into serving glasses, spooning or pouring carefully so the icy texture remains intact.
- Garnish each glass with a fresh basil leaf or a cherry if desired for a festive look.

Notes
You can adjust the sweetness by adding more honey or syrup. For an extra herbal note, add more basil leaves.
