Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup Caramel sauce preferably chilled
  • 2 cups Ice cubes
  • 1/4 cup Milk optional, for smoothing
  • 1/2 teaspoon Vanilla extract optional, adds depth

Equipment

  • Blender
  • Measuring cups and spoons

Method

  1. Measure and pour the chilled caramel sauce into the blender.
  2. Add the ice cubes to the blender, then pour in the milk if using.
  3. Sprinkle in the vanilla extract for extra flavor if desired.
  4. Secure the lid and blend on high for about 30-45 seconds until the mixture is thick, icy, and smooth, with a swirled caramel appearance. The sound should be consistent, and the texture thick enough to hold some shape when stopped.
  5. Stop the blender and check the consistency. If it's too thick, add a splash more milk and blend briefly. If too thin, add a few more ice cubes and blend again.
  6. Once the slushie is creamy and icy with a rich caramel swirl, transfer it into glasses. Serve immediately for the best texture and flavor.

Notes

For a saltier variation, sprinkle a little sea salt on top before serving. You can also drizzle additional caramel for an extra indulgence. Enjoy this frosty treat on a hot day or whenever you crave a sweet cold dessert.
